Rachel Reynolds started her career in education in 2004 as a secondary level English Language Arts Teacher in Vermont.  She spent seven years as a classroom teacher in Vermont public schools in middle and secondary settings. In 2013, she was hired as an instructional coach for teachers along with her role in the classroom.  In 2015 she became the youngest principal in the State of Vermont. During her eight years as a building leader, she led her school through many changes, including restructuring Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) which included implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) practices, incorporating Restorative Practices, implementing Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion curriculum, and transitioning her school from traditional grading practices to an entirely proficiency-based assessment model. She has experience in all aspects of school leadership including curriculum, standards-based assessment and instruction, teacher and staff evaluation and supervision, Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports, and effective discipline systems. Rachel received her Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Michaels College.
