MAUREEN BRADFORD, ED. D.


Maureen has been an educator for over thirty years working as a bilingual classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and elementary school principal. Before embarking on her consulting career, she served for eight years as the Director for Assessment, Research, and Evaluation for the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District reporting to the Board of Education and community on longitudinal student achievement data and evaluation of district initiatives. 
 
Maureen earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership at UCLA, focusing on the intersection of professional learning community and high stakes testing. Her consulting portfolio includes administrative coaching for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, and consulting with school districts and independent schools to develop and implement systems for teacher and administrator evaluation. Using the Framework for Teaching and other evidence-based rubrics and evaluation tools, Maureen provides professional development and feedback for administrators in observation and evidence gathering techniques as well as rating teacher and administrator performance. Maureen also conducts program evaluations for schools and districts using a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
