Albert "Duffy" Miller; President of Miller Educational Consulting

Professional Experience
Duffy was a high school principal for sixteen years, during which he served
as President of the Vermont Principals’ Association and Chairman of the New
Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Public Secondary Schools.
He supports the work of the Commission on Public Secondary Schools by
providing professional development for schools around high school
accreditation. He works with schools nationally assisting with high school
reform efforts, establishing small learning communities and embedding
literacy instruction in all content areas. He has worked closely with large
urban districts, suburban districts, small rural districts and state
departments of education in the areas of teacher and administrator
professional development, and teaches courses at the graduate level.
Experience with The Framework for Teaching
Duffy has served as a consultant assisting numerous districts around the
United States in using The Framework for Teaching as a component of
evaluation systems, mentoring programs, and professional development using
The Framework for Teaching as a tool to improve instruction. He has
presented at national conferences with Charlotte Danielson and has been a
national trainer and consultant with Educational Testing Service in
Princeton, New Jersey on the Pathwise and Keeping Learning on Track (KLT)
programs.

Duffy is an ETS National Certified Trainer for the KLT and AfL programs.
